However, while the rooms were clean, they lacked air conditioning, and noise from the road might be bothersome for light sleepers.

black bear lodge is in a great spot, just a short drive to hunter, wyndam, and belleayre mountains. the rooms are spacious, with the deluxe queen room having a fridge and microwave. we loved that the grounds lead to a hiking trail by a stream, perfect for our dog to explore.

The comfy room with a full kitchen made it easy to whip up snacks, and we totally loved chilling by the fire pit and unwinding with some board games. Just a heads up, the WiFi could be spotty at times, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. 😊

Perfect spot for nature lovers

We spent 2 nights here and loved the location! It’s close to the slopes and has a nice hiking trail right behind it. I appreciated the dog-friendly vibe and the big rooms with kitchen stuff. The only thing was the lack of outlets in the rooms, which made charging devices kinda tricky.
